THE JOURNEY OF THE NATURA EKOS 100% AMAZÔNIA SOAP
STEP 1

EXTRACTION OF THE PLANT BASED OIL

Natura's partner community supplier use sustainable management techniques to extract oils from the plants that make up the region's biodiversity: Açaí berries, murumuru, Andiroba, buriti, etc.

STEP 2

NOODLE PRODUCTION IN THE NATURA SOAP FACTORY

Oils extracted from biodiversity derived ingredients are blended during the noodle manufacturing process (a dry soap paste in the shape of a long noodle). The communities receive an amount related to a share of the profits. This encourages local entrepreneurship and a sustainable forest economy.

STEP 3

FINALISATION OF PRODUCTION IN THE NATURA SOAP FACTORY

When the noodle is ready, additives and other active ingredients derived from biodiversity are incorporated into the soap paste. The ingredients then go through the remaining production steps before the soap is finalised in the eco-park factory.

STEP 4

DISTRIBUTION OF NATURA EKOS 100% AMAZÔNIA SOAP BARS

Third-party suppliers transport the soap to distribution centres. The distribution centres collect the orders and deliver the product to the home of the Natura consultant. The soap can also be delivered directly to the customer's home via the Natura online platform.
Customers buy a product with high added value and thus harness the potential of the Amazon region's socio-biodiversity.
